If Derrick Rose's elbow is bothering him on Friday night, he hasn't shown any signs of it in his shooting performance -- he has 12 points on 5-7 shooting so far and is the only Chicago player in double figures. Luol Deng added seven points, and Richard Hamilton -- most likely out tonight -- has not logged a minute to this point.
But Orlando has the edge after one quarter, 27-26, thanks in large part to a 14-point first quarter effort from Dwight Howard, who hit six of his eight field goal attempts and also pulled down five rebounds.
Chicago shot 52.4% compared to Orlando's 44.0% shooting, but the Magic were a little better on the boards and got a couple more points than the Bulls at the free throw line.
