The Blackhawks got encouraging news this afternoon on the injury front, as both defenseman Steve Montador and Marcus Kruger skated Friday morning. Both are still out for tonight's game. It's especially good news regarding Kruger, who's dealt with a concussion since Christmas time.

Montador, who is suffering from an undisclosed upper body injury, has five goals and five assists in 38 games this season. Kruger has three goals and seven assists.
