The last week was not to our local college basketball teams. Illinois entered the week at No. 25, but lost a heartbreaker against Wisconsin on Sunday. Northwestern lost road games at Wisconsin and Minnesota. DePaul lost a home game to South Florida.
A new week brings a new set of challenges, so let's take a look at the week ahead for the Illini, Wildcats and Blue Demons.
Illinois

Minnesota has won three games in a row and enters their Wednesday tilt against Michigan State 15-5 overall, and 3-4 in conference.
Northwestern
January 28, 7:00 p.m.: Vs. Purdue
Purdue was crushed 82-58 at Michigan State in their last game, but wild winter weather conditions delayed the Boilermakers' trip and added a unique degree of a difficulty. Purdue is 14-6 and 4-3 in the Big 10.
DePaul
January 25, 6:00 p.m.: @ Rutgers
Rutgers enters at 11-9, 3-4 in the Big East. They coming off a two point loss to No. 12 Georgetown. Freshman guard leads the Scarlet Knights in scoring, averaging 13.7 points per game.
