Northwestern picked up its first conference win on Sunday.

Northwestern bounced back from a big loss to Ohio State by taking care of Penn State, 68-56. It's Northwestern's first conference win of the season and it brings them back to .500 in league play.

The Wildcats trailed by three at halftime, but they picked up the offense in the second half and ultimately cruised by the visiting Nittany Lions. Northwestern was far more accurate from the field overall, shooting 55% to Penn State's 34%, and the Wildcats did what they usually do when they're successful -- hit a bunch of three-pointers.

Drew Crawford scored a game-high 21 points on 7-9 shooting. Dave Sobolewski scored 20, and John Shurna added 17.

Tim Frazier led Penn State with 16 points.
