Bulls Select Point Guard Norris Cole With 28th Pick

Stay connected for news and updates

The Chicago Bulls used their first pick in the 2011 draft, 28th overall, to select point guard Norris Cole from Cleveland State University. Cole, 6'1", 170, according to many scouts is considered the fifth best point guard in this years draft.

The 22 year old from Dayton, Ohio is considered a gym rat known to take thousands of jump shots after practice had completed.

Cole is your typical pass first, shoot second, old school point guard. He is an excellent defender which defensive minded coach Tom Thibodeaux will love.

This will not be the first member of Norris Cole's family to play professional sports. His cousin is Trent Cole, an all-pro defensive lineman for the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Bulls also own the 30th pick in the first round.
