White Sox,Humber Look To Continue Success At Fenway

Most White Sox fans know that when the Sox visit Oakland or Toronto they are most likely going to struggle. For whatever reason these destinations have not been pleasant for the Sox. What most fans may not know is that Boston has been a successful spot for the White Sox lately. After Monday's victory the White Sox have won five in a row at Fenway and are 11-2 in their last 13 games against Boston overall.

Philip Humber and the White Sox will hope to keep up their winning ways at Fenway when he takes the mound on Tuesday night at  Fenway Park. Humber was originally scheduled to pitch Wednesday, but switched spots with Gavin Floyd after Floyd  was needed out of the Bullpen on Saturday.

Humber has been a pleasant surprise for the Sox all season. He comes in to Tuesday's game with a 3-3 record and an ERA of just 2.85. Humber was supposed to be a spot starter for the Sox coming out of spring training keeping the spot warm until Jake Peavy returned. He has pitched so well that the Sox have kept Humber in the rotation and have gone with a six man rotation the past few weeks.

Pitching for Boston in game two of the series will be Alfredo Aceves. Aceves comes into Tuesday's game with a 2-0 record and an ERA of 2.22. This is only his third start of the season. The right hander was added to the rotation after injuries to John Lackey and Daisuke Matsuzaka.

First pitch for game two of the three game series is scheduled for 6:10 Central. Weather forecast at time of first pitch is sunny with temps in the low 70's. The game can be seen on WCIU.
