2011 NFL Mock Draft: Danny Watkins To Bears In Latest SB Nation Mock

Stay connected for news and updates

The 2011 NFL Draft is just about here, and the Mock Drafts and information are pouring in faster than ever. SB Nation just released the latest edition of their 2011 NFL Mock Draft, and they have the bears addressing their need along the offensive line. They are projected to take Baylor guard Danny Watkins, here is their rationale.

Stephen Paea might be tempting, but it's pretty close to imperative that the Bears get a starting offensive lineman here. That's exactly what Watkins is.

Watkins would be a starter pretty much immediately for the Bears, and he could seriously help them along the offensive line. He hasn't been projected to go to the Bears that much in the past, but that's probably only because Mock Drafters think the Bears will try to take a tackle if they get that chance. But if Watkins is the highest rated offensive lineman on the board, I think he would be a good pick, and solid value.

The first round of the 2011 NFL Draft starts at 8 p.m. (ET) on Thursday, April 28, and SB Nation has everything you need to prepare: NFL mock drafts, draft projections, scouting reports, the full NFL draft schedule and more.
