It's February and you know what that means. Yes, pitchers and catchers report to camp in 12 days, and yes, tomorrow is Groundhog Day, but Valentine's Day is also just around the corner. and that means it's time for the Wolves' annual Valentine's Day puck fundraiser to benefit the Chicago Wolves Charities. The event will be hosted by players' wives and girlfriends at games on Feb. 4, Feb. 5, Feb. 9, Feb. 19, Feb. 23 and Feb. 26.
As part of the promotion, commerative Valentine's Day pucks, each signed by a Wolves player, will be packaged with candy and available for a $10 donation. Any puck signed in gold gives the winner the opporutnity to meet the player who signed the puck after the game. A complete set of autographed pucks will also be offered for a $200 donation.
Proceeds will benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the United Cerebral Palsy Fund, as well as the Chicago Wolves Charities.
More information on the fundraiser is available on the Wolves website.
