The GoDaddy.com Bowl is still a ways off -- set for Dec. 8, it's the next-to-last college football game of the season -- but the early odds from Las Vegas have Arkansas State favored by 1-1/2 points over Northern Illinois in a game that could feature a lot of scoring.
Arkansas State is one of several teams that's gone through a coaching change during bowl prep; it's been a relatively quiet December of Northern Illinois, which won the Mid-American Conference title this season, but the Huskies have plenty of work ahead to improve on the defensive side of the ball and slow down an ASU offense averaging over 30 points per game.
Though if the Huskies defense struggles to get stops, NIU's offense is plenty capable of keeping pace with Arkansas State. That's reflected in the game's over/under, which is currently set at 63 points.
