Chandler Harnish's second touchdown pass of the second half brought the Northern Illinois Huskies into within one score of the Ohio Bobcats in the fourth quarter of the 2011 MAC Championship. Harnish hit wide receiver Martel Moore for a 32-yard touchdown with just over 7:30 to go in the fourth, although the impact of the score was dulled slightly when kicker Mathew Sims missed the ensuing extra point.
The Huskies are still within one score of the Bobcats, but will no longer be able to win the game in regulation with just a touchdown and an extra point. Harnish now is 10-19 on the game for 167 yards and two touchdowns and one interception.
