Philly.com interviewed Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie about his apparent angry outburst on the sideline during Monday night's matchup against the Chicago Bears. Rodgers-Cromartie confessed to letting the "heat of the moment" getting to him:
↵↵↵I got frustrated on a play that I should have known was coming and instead I did something else, so you know I kind of went off. (Shoot), I was mad, it was in the heat of the moment, (stuff) is going to happen.
↵
Well, apparently, the Bears are not only better at football than the Eagles, but also better at televised outbursts.
↵It was only a few weeks ago that the nation shockingly watched as quarterback Jay Cutler yelled some choice words for the sideline -- while on national TV, no less:
↵↵Note the colorful language around yonder 23 second mark.
↵With all due respect to Dominique, he doesn't even have a Youtube clip yet. Moreover, Jay never apologized, but instead said essentially deal with it to a suddenly much more admiring fan-base.
↵Next time, DRC, consider yelling when the cameras are a little closer.
