Determined in the final week of play, the 2011 Big Ten Championship Game will feature the Badgers and Spartans.
With a stunning win against the Penn St. Nittany Lions Saturday, the Wisconsin Badgers (10-2, 6-2 Big Ten) will advance to the 2011 Big Ten Championship Game against the Michigan St. Spartans (10-2, 7-1 Big Ten).
Penn St. was atop the Leaders Division of the Big Ten Conference entering play Saturday, but the Badgers defeated them in a 45-7 trouncing. The Spartans also won today, beating the Northwestern Wildcats, but Michigan St. had already won the Legends Division the week prior, guaranteeing their championship game appearance.

The Big Ten Championship Game, scheduled to take place December 3, 2012 in Indianapolis, will feature two teams sporting consecutive 10-win seasons in the Badgers and Spartans and teams ranked 16 and 14, respectively, entering play on Saturday.
