Ball State Vs. Northern Illinois Score Update: Huskies Take 35-31 Lead Early In Fourth Quarter

A touchdown early in the third quarter extended Ball State's lead to 31-14 over Northern Illinois, but the Huskies haven't given up a point since then and lead 35-31 early in the fourth quarter following three impressive touchdown drives. Northern Illinois has been nearly unstoppable on offense so far, accumulating 566 yards of total offense split almost perfectly between the run and the pass.

Quarterback Chandler Harnish was great in the first half of Tuesday's game and that's just continued in the second. He's currently completed 20 of 25 passes for 288 yards and 2 touchdowns, and he's ran the ball 21 times for 116 yards and a touchdown as well. It's helped to make up for a somewhat mistake-prone performance from the Huskies that's included seven penalties and two turnovers.
