Recap: Browns Edge Bears In Final Preseason Exhibition, 13-10

Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) – Phil Dawson’s 36-yard field goal in the final seconds lifted Cleveland over Chicago, 13-10, in the final preseason tilt for both clubs at Browns Stadium.

Colt McCoy took the majority of the snaps and finished 13-of-13 for 131 yards for the Browns, who open their 2010 season September 12 in Tampa. Brett Ratliff wound up 10-of-15 for 93 yards and an interception.

Montario Hardesty ran for a one-yard score in his exhibition debut but left the game in the second quarter with an injured left knee.

Todd Collins was 10-of-15 for 139 yards and a TD pass for the Bears, who begin their regular-season slate September 12 by hosting Detroit.

Rashied Davis led the receivers with three catches for 65 yards while Greg Olsen’s 15-yard catch resulted in Chicago’s lone trip to the end zone.
