The Deep Dish

Tasty slices of Chicago sports from our editors

Your Thursday Sports TV Schedule

Noon, MLB Network: Tigers at Yankees. The Yankees need to win to keep pace with the Rays for the best record in baseball.

1 p.m., WGN: Cubs vs. Padres. The Cubs need to keep pace… oh, wait. No, they don’t. The Padres lead the NL West by six games.

6 p.m., MLB Network: Angels at Red Sox. The Red Sox, 5.5 games out of the wild-card lead, are 9-0 against the Angels this year.

7 p.m., CSN Chicago: White Sox vs. Twins. The Sox are 4-10 vs. the Twins in 2010 — there’s virtually the entire difference in the AL Central race.

7 p.m., Fox-32: NFL Exhibition, Patriots at Falcons.

10 p.m., NFL Network: NFL Exhibition, Colts vs. Bills. This game is on tape delay, but is of interest because it’s being played in Toronto, where the Bears will face the Bills on November 7.
