Sox And Twins Begin Crucial AL Central Showdown At Target Field

After going 36-17 in June and July, the White Sox are having a tougher go in August; they're 7-8 so far this month and have lost six of their last eight to sit three games behind the Twins beginning their series tonight in Minneapolis.

John Danks will take the mound for the Sox; he defeated the Twins last Wednesday in Chicago, the only game the Sox won in that series. He'll be opposed by Minnesota's Scott Baker.

The game will begin at 7:05 CDT and will be televised on WCIU. Viewers who are outside the Chicago area may be able to see the game via MLB Extra Innings using the FSN North feed.
