Wrigley Ballhawks Rejoice As Cubs Reacquire Bob Howry

Stay connected for news and updates

Former Cub reliever Bob Howry, who had two pretty good years for the team before a bad year in 2008 led the Cubs to allow him to leave via free agency, has been re-signed by the team, according to this CSN Chicago report.

Howry had a good year for the Giants in 2009 (although the photo attached to this story shows him hanging his head in shame after allowing a walkoff to the Pirates in the 14th inning), but his ERA was north of 10 this year with the Diamondbacks and many Cub fans are wondering how many HR balls the Wrigley ballhawks on Waveland will be catching when he is in the game.

More details on the Howry signing to come.
